Ancillary costs
The following incidental costs are incurred when purchasing a property: land transfer tax (3.5%), notary and land registry fees (1.5%) and, if applicable, broker commission (from 3.0% plus VAT). These costs should not be neglected when calculating the total investment. After acquisition, ongoing ancillary costs are incurred in the form of operating costs/management costs. They must be taken into account when calculating the monthly charge.
